The Bukhara State Pedagogical Institute team secured victory in the plogging project.

On March 30, in Bukhara, a plogging campaign was held under the slogan “For a Waste-Free World!” in celebration of the International Day of Zero Waste.

On this occasion, a clean-up campaign was organized at the Samanid Park in Bukhara city by the Bukhara Regional Department of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change.

The event brought together representatives of the regional Department of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change, volunteer students of Bukhara State Pedagogical Institute, the regional Department for Waste Management and Circular Economy Development, the regional Department of Youth Affairs, and other organizations.

As part of the “Plogging” project, conducted in the form of a competition, participants were divided into five teams and collected more than 550 kilograms of waste. At the end of the event, students of Bukhara State Pedagogical Institute proudly secured first place, and team members were awarded commemorative gifts.
